JOHN JENNINGS
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT, & OWNER
My Story

John Jennings hitchhiked to Jackson Hole 40 years ago with the intention of being a ski bum at the best "unknown" ski resort in the world. In 1985, there were virtually no one skiing our beloved mountains.
John grew up in Malibu, California, enjoying the life of a California kid. Skateboarding the early days, surfing, and skiing. However, his desire to live in a ski resort town, led him to JH.
In 1983, John started on as a carpenter in SoCal, and developed abilities he never knew existed within him. He quickly rose up the ladders using his talent with strong origins of creative thinking, movement, and quality.
In JH, John worked for some very high
end builders to further his knowledge and skills of the craft that helped solidify his goals in the future and have his own quality oriented company.
Unlike many, John started from scratch. Living in a tent when his first son Kyle was born in 1990, John knew he had a long road to climb.
With his son's birth, the 90's started out strong and turned out to be a fantastic decade. From Peak Builders inception in 1992, and the wonderful birth of his daughter, Lindsay in 1995, to building his own family home in 1998, John found life to be amazing. His two children work in Peak Builders management to this day and are a huge part of John's everyday life. Full circle
"American Dream."
In 2022, John and his wife Presley welcomed Hugo into the world.
What an awesome new lease on life. The enjoyment of being a new dad again is something John cherishes and continues to work hard for each day. In addition, with the advent of his new partnership with Gus, John feels very fortunate in life and looks forward to what's next while enjoying the present and remembering the past that brought him here.
