ORIGIN

Peak Builders was established in 1992 by John Jennings and John Scott.

This team morphed into a full time business, after their moonlighting company, "Totally Excellent Construction," proved the two had the ability and drive to run a general contracting company effectively, and with pride.

After their first five years of success, John Scott decided to pursue a salt water flats fly fishing career In the Florida Keys. While John Jennings was elated for John Scott choosing a life dream, it indeed propelled him to further put the business into a new realm of unparalleled quality.

This became the norm for Peak. Peak's reputation grew and grew as the homes they created maintained a level not seen in Jackson Hole.

John still stands tall with his company after well over 3 decades at the helm.

TODAY

Building a home is a very personal and rewarding endeavor. Over the past 33 years, John and his team have strived to create the optimum experience for the homeowner, by maintaining effective communication, integrity, promise, and drive.

In 2024, John welcomed Gus Suclla as his first partner in 27 years.

Gus and John have had a long history together that even included a partnership in their concrete company over 20 years ago. Gus has proven himself as a very intelligent and strong leader, while sharing John's attention to quality, detail, drive and honesty. These are what encompass the Peak Builders Ethic. With Gus' added leadership to Peak, the company sits in a stronger place than ever before, allowing the best of the best in all of our future crafts of homes far above the ordinary.
